Subslab Vapor Points
BFS installs subslab vapor points in commercial, residential, and industrial facilities throughout Milwaukee and the entire state of Wisconsin. Additionally, BFS can conduct vapor sampling and submit samples for laboratory analysis.
The vapor points can be utilized for many purposes including vapor intrusion studies, radon testing, subslab pressure testing, and of course the sampling of subslab / soil gases and vapor.
Vapor points can be installed in a stick-up orientation, which is most suited to very short term installations and/or locations with minimal foot-traffic. Points can also be installed in a flush-mount orientation with a cover, which is particularly useful in areas with heavy foot traffic and/or for long term usage. The cover can be a simple plastic slip top or a secure metal cap.
BFS is equipped to handle the minor amount of concrete dust created during the installation process. The hole created will be either 5/8" or 1.5" and extend through the concrete slab.
